A large batch of Independence Blue Cross Achievement Unlocked took place in El Salvador on Tuesday evening as Philadelphia Union opened its second participation in the Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League against Alianza F.C.
After making a pair of second-half substitutions for the Union during the start of the 2023 MLS regular season, midfielder Joaquin Torres got his first start for the Union against the El Salvadorian side.
