We're starting off a week celebrating a BIMBO Birthday for forward Chris Donovan!
The Union forward turns 22 today and has had a memorable 2022 so far. The Drexel University graduate was impressive during his time with Philadelphia Union II in MLS NEXT Pro action to earn a promotion to the Boys in Blue on June 17. Donovan made his first MLS appearance the following day, coming on as a second-half substitute in place of Julian Carranza in the 85th minute against FC Cincinnati. After making a pair of appearances for the Union, he earned his first start with the club against the Columbus Crew on July 3rd.
