Philadelphia Union erased a two-goal deficit to earn a 3-2 comeback win over New York City FC at Yankee Stadium on Sunday night. NYCFC took a 2-0 lead behind penalty kicks from Bénie Traoré in the fourth minute and Luighi in first-half stoppage time. Midfielder Danley Jean Jacques pulled one back in the 48th minute before forward Bruno Damiani scored twice in six minutes, with Cavan Sullivan assisting the equalizer and Quinn Sullivan setting up the game-winner to complete the comeback on the road.
The Union return home to host Inter Miami CF on Wednesday, August 19 at Subaru Park (7:30 p.m. ET / Apple TV).
