One of the first goals of 2025 proved to be the favorite amongst Union fans with midfielder Jovan Lukic being voted the winner of the 2025 Bimbo Goal of the Year
Lukic was in a tight battle with homegrown Quinn Sullivan's blast against Inter Miami CF for the accolade with the Serbian emerging victorious by just five votes.
Lukic needed little time to become a fan favorite with his intense hustle on both sides of pitch and it went up another notch with his first MLS goal on the road at the New England Revolution. With the Boys in Blue leading by a lone goal, Lukic took a pass from Indiana Vassilev and blasted it off the far post and in that had the Revs defense stunned.
