After helping guide Philadelphia Union back to the win column, Quinn Sullivan has been named to the MLS Team of the Matchday honors, the league announced Monday.
The Union homegrown had another breakout performance at Subaru Park on Saturday night, scoring his first goal of 2025 and added an assist in the club's 3-0 win ovver Atlanta United.
The 21-year-old Quinn Sullivan helped the Boys in Blue jump out to the lead in the 27th minute with a volley finish that capped off a chaotic build up that saw chance after chance pushed by the defense before finding the midfielder.
Sullivan then added an assist in the 84th minute, tracking down a whipped in cross from Kai Wagner that sailed over Baribo. The Union midfielder tracked down the ball before it cross out of bounds and then sent in another cross that Baribo flicked home for the final goal of the night.
The Boys in Blue wrap up their April homestand with Kids Day Presented by Nemours Children’s Health against rivals D.C. United next weekend. The contest sees the return of the fan-favorite postgame kick with all kids 14 and under invited to take a shot on goal following the contest. Tickets are on sale now for the April 26th contest, with registration for the postgame activity required. Kick off from Subaru Park is set for 4:30PM ET.
