Recap | Union extend their MLS unbeaten streak to seven against Red Bull New York!

Philadelphia Union extended their unbeaten streak to seven with a 3-1 rivalry win over Red Bull New York on the road at Sports Illustrated Stadium by way of goals from Milan Iloski, Cavan Sullivan, and Neil Pierre. 

With the result, the Union remain one of just two teams in all of Major League Soccer without a loss since MLS play resumed in July.

Milan Iloski scored his 11th goal of the season to claim an early lead for the Union in the 21st minute. Cavan Sullivan scored his second goal in two games to make it 2-0 early in the second half. Neil Pierre added another for his fourth goal since the World Cup break, sliding to finish a set piece executed by Iloski.

LINEUP NOTES

Ryan Richter made just one change from last weekend's draw against Austin, adding the Jovan Lukic back into the XI to replace Jesus Bueno.

Three-time MLS Goalkeeper of the Year Andre Blake started between the posts, behind a backline featuring Kai Wagner on the left opposite Frankie Westfield, plus Neil Pierre and Nathan Harriel paired at centerback. 

Lukic, Danley, Indiana Vassilev, and Cavan Sullivan made up the midfield, while Milan Iloski and Bruno Damiani started up top.

1', Strong traveling support | The 100+ contigent of Philadelphia Union faithful in the 200-level of Sports Illustrated Stadium made their presence known early, chanting loud to kick off the match. 

3', Red Bull chances | A chance from Red Bull's rising young star Julian Hall was stopped by Blake, and while Adri Mehmeti was able to continue the host's attack with a shot of his own, his attempt sailed over left.

18', Blake save! | Blake dove for a save in the 18th minute, diving to make the stop on an open Jorge Ruvalcaba, but he was ultimately caught offsides. 

21', Iloski opens scoring on the road! | Philly fans were sent into a frenzy when the Boys in Blue struck first away from home -- from the right corner, Danley sent the ball across the box past Iloski to Vassilev on the other side, who sent it back in for a final touch from the number 10.

32', Blake save! | Blake made a stop on Cade Cowell in the 32nd minute.

38', Harriel block | A chipped pass into the box toward Hall left the 18-year-old and Harriel battling for possesion in front of the net. The Union Homegrown hit  the ground without a call from the officials, forcing Blake to make a 1v1 initial stop, but a shot Ruvalcaba caused Harriel to quickly reset for a header block to keep it 1-0.

45+1, Corner chance | In the final minute of the first half, a short corner from the left executed by Wagner spurred a promising flurry of shots from Philly, with Iloski taking three chances before his final shot hit the side netting. 

Halftime | Philly retreated to the locker room for halftime with a 1-0 advantage over Red Bull. 

Red Bull change | Red Bull Head Coach Michael Bradley made a halftime sub, sending on Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting for Ruvalcaba. 

46', Post! | Hall started the second half hot with a powerful shot stopped by only the post. 

50', Sullivan scores! | A boot from Danley found Sulllivan for a run up the left, a cut inside, then a shot that hit the back of the net to make it 2-0 for Philly. With the goal, Sullivan has scored in back-to-back matches, boosting his post-World Cup goal contribution total to five.

64', Union sub | After his brother's goal, the eldest Sullivan was sent on to replace Vassilev.

65',  Pierre goal! | Pierre scored his fourth goal since the World Cup break, hitting the back of the net with a sliding to finish set piece pass from Iloski.

74', Red Bull goal | The hosts got one back with a goal from Choupo-Moting off the bench.

80', Union subs | Richter sent on Jesus Bueno and Agustin Anello to replace Sullivan and Damiani.
