PHILADELPHIA UNION WINTER SELECT 2027

Open to Boys and Girls, U9-U15

Following the incredible success of the Summer Select program, the Philadelphia Union is proud to bring its Winter Select program to Eastern Pennsylvania.

The program allows competitive youth players to showcase their skills and represent the Philadelphia Union at the Disney Presidents Day Soccer Tournament, held February 13-15, 2027, at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando.

To prepare for the tournament, teams will practice twice per week for six weeks beginning the week of January 4, 2027. All practices will take place inside the newly opened WSFS Bank Sportsplex in Chester, Pennsylvania.

ID SESSIONS

The Winter Select program is open to all competitive travel players. Every registered player will be evaluated at an ID Session.

Players must attend at least one ID Session to be considered for the program.

• 5:00-6:00 p.m.: U9/U10 Boys and Girls
• 6:15-7:30 p.m.: U11/U12 Boys and Girls
• 7:45-9:00 p.m.: U13/U14/U15 Boys and Girls

Registration

• ID Session fee: $10
• Registration closes September 13, 2026

HOW THE PROCESS WORKS

1. Register for an ID Session and pay the $10 fee by September 13, 2026.
2. Attend at least one ID Session for evaluation.
3. Receive communication regarding the tryout results.
4. If selected, register through CoachBetter using the “Philadelphia Union Winter Select 2027” registration and pay the $625 program fee.
5. Receive CoachBetter access and jersey-ordering information.
6. Attend as many of the 12 scheduled training sessions as possible.
7. Participate in the Disney Presidents Day Soccer Tournament.

PRACTICE INFORMATION

Teams will participate in 12 practices over the six-week program.

• Teams will practice twice per week.
• Practices will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays.
• The first practice will be Monday, January 4, 2027.
• The final practice will be Thursday, February 11, 2027.
• Practice times will be between 6:00 and 9:00 p.m.
• Specific team practice days and time slots will be announced after teams are formed.

TOURNAMENT INFORMATION

Disney Presidents Day Soccer Tournament

Dates: February 13-15, 2027
Location: ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida

Families are responsible for booking and paying for their own travel and accommodations.

Non-playing family members must purchase admission tickets to the complex through the Disney website. Participating players and coaches receive free access and do not need to purchase admission tickets.

Final games will be played on Monday, so families should plan to be in Orlando from Saturday through Monday. Finals typically conclude no later than 3:00 p.m. on Monday.

WHAT THE PROGRAM FEE INCLUDES

The $625 program registration cost is an all-inclusive fee covering:

• One winter tournament coached by Philadelphia Union Youth coaches
• 12 training sessions with Philadelphia Union Youth coaches
• Philadelphia Union player package:
  • Two jerseys
  • One pair of shorts
  • One pair of socks
• A professional, challenging, and engaging environment
• A developmental curriculum aligned with the Philadelphia Union Academy
• Coaching delivered by the professional Philadelphia Union Youth coaching staff
• Entertaining and energetic activities designed to create a unique and memorable experience

Travel, accommodations, and admission tickets for non-playing family members are not included.

PAYMENT INFORMATION

No payment, other than the $10 ID Session fee, is due until the ID Sessions have been completed and players have received their selection results.

Selected players may pay the $625 Winter Select program fee in full when registering or divide it into three payments:

• $225 when registering through CoachBetter
• $200 due on the second payment date
• $200 due January 1, 2027

The “Philadelphia Union Winter Select 2027” registration will open after the ID Sessions have been completed.

Scheduled payments will be charged automatically if a card is saved to the parent’s CoachBetter account. All payments must be completed before the program begins.
