Philadelphia Union announced today that defender Philippe Ndinga has been called up to the Gabon National Team for the upcoming FIFA international window. The selection marks Ndinga’s second senior national team call-up.
Ndinga received his first senior call-up in September, joining Gabon for Africa Cup of Nations qualification matches against Morocco and Niger. The 21-year-old seeks his first senior international appearance during the upcoming window for the country.
Prior to joining Gabon’s senior setup, Ndinga represented the Republic of Congo at the U-20 level, earning three appearances at the 2025 Maurice Revello Tournament. He received his first call-up to Gabon’s senior team in September after committing his international future to the Panthers.
Gabon will face Lesotho in a pair of 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualification matches, beginning at home in Franceville on Friday, November 13. The two sides will meet again on Tuesday, November 17 in South Africa.
