Philadelphia Union announced today that Olivier Mbaizo has received an international call-up for Cameroon ahead of their World Cup qualifiers. The defender is part of eight call-ups in March which include , , in addition to Paxten Aaronson, Jack McGlynn, Quinn Sullivan, and Brandan Craig receiving call ups to the U-20 USMNT.
Mbaizo joins the Cameroon National Team as they continue the fourth round of the FIFA World Cup African Qualifiers. This is Mbaizo's eighth senior team call up for Cameroon as they also prepare for a pair of World Cup Qualifiers. He has earned 11 senior international caps for the Indomitable Lions. Cameroon will play Algeria at home (March 25, 1:00 p.m.) and away (March 29, 3:30 p.m.).
