The Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) powered by Ticketmaster, today announced that Philadelphia and Subaru Park, home of the Philadelphia Union, in Chester, Penn. will host the 2025 PLL Semifinals on Monday, Sept. 1. This marks the fourth consecutive year the PLL has hosted post-season games in Philadelphia.
“We're excited to bring the intensity of playoff lacrosse back to Subaru Park," said Paul Rabil, Co-Founder and President of the Premier Lacrosse League. “The road to the championship runs through Philadelphia once again. These semifinal matchups will showcase the best of professional lacrosse in a venue that delivers an electric, playoff atmosphere for players and fans alike."

The PLL also announced changes to its playoff format for 2025. Continuing in a two conference structure, the top three teams in both the Eastern and Western Conferences will qualify for the playoffs. The first two rounds of the playoffs will feature in-conference match ups to name a conference champion, culminating in the Eastern and Western Conference meeting in the PLL Championship game. Seeding for each conference will be determined by overall win-loss record.
