Union Recreational Soccer
UnionRec is a program built to make the beautiful game accessible to everyone. As soccer continues to grow across the U.S., we believe it’s more important than ever to give as many kids as possible the chance to play, laugh, and fall in love with the sport. UnionRec is designed to break down the common barriers that keep families from getting involved, so more children can experience the joy, confidence, and friendships that soccer brings.
ACCESS
One of the biggest challenges for families is simply finding a place to play. Most kids can’t get started unless their parents join a local soccer club. To change that, URec has partnered with clubs across the region who have opened their facilities to us.
These “host clubs” don’t require you to become a member. Your child can play through UnionRec without that extra step, making it easier than ever to get on the field and start having fun.

TIME & COST
We understand that families are busy and budgets are often tight. That’s why UnionRec programs run once a week on weekends, with no weekday practices and no traveling between fields. Everything happens in one place on one day, keeping the focus on what matters most: kids playing, smiling, and enjoying the game.
Our programs cost just $100–$150 per player, making soccer more affordable and family-friendly than ever.

SKILL LEVEL
Another common barrier is tryouts. With UnionRec, there are none. Every child gets to play, with no evaluations and no cuts. We believe every soccer journey has to start somewhere, and our goal is to give kids the chance to discover the sport on their own terms, whether they’re stepping onto the field for the first time or already love to play.
