It was Isaiah LeFlore who leveled the score in the 55th minute, scoring his first-ever goal for Union II. The build-up began with a series of smart passes on the right side, before Sequera sent a service to the center of the box -- his pass was headed out, but LeFlore spotted the ball, settled it with his chest, and powered it to the back of the net from distance to make the score 1-1.
64', Union II subs | Head Coach Ryan Richter made his first changes of the match in the 64th minute, swapping Stas Korzeniowski and CJ Olney for Sal Olivas and Willyam Ferreira. The subsittion marked the first-ever pro appearance for Ferreria, a 16-year-old Philadelphia Union Academy product.
