Philadelphia Union academy product turned first-teamer Cavan Sullivan kicked off his 2025 FIFA U-17 World Cup debut with a game-winner in the team's opening match against Burkina Faso on Wednesday.

17 minutes after entering the match as a second-half sub, Sullivan gave his team a late 1-0 lead, finishing a cross from Mathis Albert in the 79th.

The 16-year-old midfielder is one of four Union products on the U.S. U-17 roster, suiting up for the stars and stripes alongside Jamir Johnson, Kellan LeBlanc, and Jordan Griffin.
