Philadelphia Union played D.C. United on Wednesday night at Subaru Park, battling to a 0-0 draw. The first half ended scoreless with both sides creating chances. The Union's closest scoring opportunity of the match came just over an hour in, when forward Julian Carranza volleyed a shot on goal, forcing the D.C. goalkeeper to make a fingertip save. The Union came close several times to notching the game winner, but could not find a late goal. Goalkeeper Andre Blake made three saves to help the Union earn the clean sheet and take a hard fought mid-week point. With the result, the Union extended their unbeaten streak to five games. 

The Union will return to Subaru Park on Saturday, May 20th (7:30 p.m. ET / Apple TV), where they face the New England Revolution.
