Philadelphia Union II announced today that Giovanny Sequera has received an international call-up for Venezuela ahead of the upcoming FIFA international window.
The 18-year-old will train with Venezuela's senior team for the first time as they prepare for the World Cup Qualifiers. Venezuela will play matches against Bolivia (Sept. 6, 4:00 p.m.) and Uruguay (Sept. 10, 6:00 p.m.)
Sequera has previously spent time with Venezuela's U-17 team, making 10 appearances.
