It was a tight contest for May's Primepoint Assist of May but once all the votes were tallied up, defender Kai Wagner was on the winning side.
The left back claimed his second Primepoint Assist of the Month win in 2022 with his assist on the Union's second goal at the Portland Timbers. Wagner spun a cross into the box from the left flank on the road picking out Sergio Santos who rose highest among a group of bodies to power a header into the lower corner of the net.
