With fans still making their way to their seats in Los Angeles, Auston Trusty provided the fireworks to become the first Philadelphia Union homegrown to score at a FIFA World Cup.
From Media, PA., joined the Philadelphia Union as a member of the first group of Union Juniors in 2011. He then joined the Academy at its inception in 2013 and rose through the Pathway To The Pros where be became the fifth homegrown signing in club history in 2016. During his time with the Boys in Blue, Trusty had 56 starts and now currently plays for Celtic, where he just won the Scottish Premiership.
