With the 2025-26 MLS NEXT Season on the horizon, USSoccerCollective.com has compiled their MLS Academy rankings and at the top of the list is Philadelphia Union once again.
Claiming the No. 1 spot for the third-consecutive year, the list ranks the club with a perfect 10 out of 10 in both talent and resources.
The Union also rank highly in their "Pathway To The Pros" player development platform with 15 players signed to MLS or MLS NEXT Pro professional contracts.
The list ranks the Union's talent pool at the A+ level for the second year as well, one of two clubs to receive those marks overall in any categories. The Union also rank highly in their "Pathway To The Pros" player development platform where seven players have signed with the organization in the last 12 months.
"No other U.S. club is producing more high-level prospects," Marus Chairez writes. "They maximize their MLS Next Pro team as a development tool, consistently fielding one of the youngest rosters while still achieving on-field success."
